Title - General Maintenance Operative

Location - Greater Manchester area

The role

You’ll be part of our field team carrying out a mix of general building maintenance, repairs, and works across client sites.
It’s a varied role for someone confident with tools, capable of working independently, and able to represent HAL FM on site with professionalism.

Typical tasks include:

General building fabric repairs and minor installation works
Basic joinery, plumbing, painting, and small electrical tasks
Supporting planned maintenance schedules (PPMs)
Attending reactive call-outs and resolving issues promptly
Keeping job records and photos up to date through our digital system
Taking part in out-of-hours and emergency call-out when required

What You’ll Need

Previous experience in a maintenance, fabric, or multi-trade role
Solid all-round skills and confidence using tools
A full UK driving licence (company van provided)
A positive, reliable, and self-motivated attitude
Flexibility for evening or weekend work when needed
